Starlings feed on insects, larvae, slugs, snails, earthworms and centipedes. They move along the ground using their beaks to find bugs. They will also feed on berries and seeds. |

Starlings are familiar urban birds, gathering in large numbers to feed and to roost on buildings and in trees. They are migratory, heading south in the winter. |
