The Bird Safe Window Screen acts as a physical barrier between birds and the hard surface. The mesh screen eliminates reflection, letting birds know there is indeed a surface.  If birds fly into the Bird Safe Window Screen, they are gently bounced away, preventing window strikes.

How Is It Sold?
Bird Safe Window Screen comes with all the components needed to protect a window. Each kit includes one screen (that can be cut to size), 4 hanging brackets and 4 suction cups.

Detailed Description:
Bird Safe Window Screen is an adjustable mesh panel used to prevent window strikes on reflective surfaces such as glass or windows. The screen is made of a lightweight mesh that attaches to surfaces with suction cups.  
The Bird Safe Window Screen works in two ways. First it eliminates the reflection on shiny surfaces, preventing window strikes by letting the bird know there is indeed a surface. Second, if birds do fly into the screen, the taut mesh safely repels the bird by bouncing it away from the window.
Bird Safe Window Screen can also be installed to prevent birds from pecking at glass.

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: Clean outside of window, making sure surface is dry before installation.
Step 2: Apply Suction Cups to the upper left and right hand corners of the window with the “L” bracket openings facing downward.  
Step 3: Apply suction cups to the bottom left and right hand corners with the “L” bracket openings facing upwards.
Step 4: Roll out the protective mesh and cut to match the length of your window.
Step 5: Slide the bar attached to the top of the netting into the top brackets
Step 6: Clamp the bottom bar onto the bottom of the netting and cut the excess netting with scissors.
Step 7: Slide the bottom bar into the bottom brackets.

Note: Make sure mesh is stretched taut and does not sag. Sagging will allow birds to make contact with the window through the mesh.

Removal Instructions:

Step 1: To remove Bird Safe simply pull the tabs on the suction cups first at the bottom, then at the top to eliminate the suction to the window.
Step 2: Remove brackets and cups from header bar and base bar.
Step 3: Roll Bird Safe mesh up and place into box with brackets and cups for storage until next season!
