The Solar Bird Repeller is a solar-powered bird deterrent that uses motion to scare away large birds such as pigeons, seagulls and crows.

How the Solar Repeller works:
A solar panel powers two telescoping 2.5 foot “arms” mounted above the unit that spin continuously covering a 5 foot area. Birds will be frightened by the movement and will avoid the area.

The Bird Repeller is a solar powered bird deterrent that uses continuous motion to prevent large pest birds from landing. The Repeller has two 2.5 foot long “arms” mounted on top of the unit that spin continuously covering an area of 5 feet. The movement will scare birds away from the treated area. The Solar Bird Repeller is portable, and can store energy to keep it lasting into the night.

The Solar Repeller is easy to install and operate. The two metal “arms” screw right into the top of the repeller cone. Hardware is provided to attach the solar panel to the side of the unit. Bird Deterrent Solar Repeller

The "solar bird wacker" works. Simple as that. As a Captain, yacht broker and business consultant, I spend a lot of time on the water observing nature and watercraft. I find birds like things bolted down, rigid, non-mobile and fixed inplace. Loose floppy rigging or gear tends to distrub thier comfort zone. The 'bird wacker" creates a situation whereas the non-ending sea-sick motion of the solar unit creats an uncomfortable situation which stops them from standing on boats around the harbor. Especially at night, when it is calm with no breeze, birds are looking to take a break, it just keeps on running and they choose somehwere else to land. I believe It works best with only one antenna attached.
