Garages and Sheds

Enclosed areas such as garages, barns and sheds provide birds with a shelter from weather and predators when nesting. Exposed beams act as the perfect perch. To keep birds from roosting or nesting in these areas there are more than a few options.

If possible, you can seal any openings to the outside, or net off areas to block birds from getting to beams. You could treat the ledges the birds are actually sitting on, or you could try to scare them away from the general area with sound or visual bird deterrents.

Note: It's important to clean away nesting materials and droppings before products are installed.

For areas where birds are nesting:
