How Are They Sold?
Bird Spikes are sold in three different quantities: 6 feet, 20 feet or 50 feet. You can also choose the width. The width is chosen based on how wide the affected area is. You don't want to leave birds more than an inch on either side of the spikes. If the affected area is very wide, multiple rows of spike may be needed.

Bird Spikes are a humane way to prevent large birds from landing. The spikes come in 2 foot sections and are available in 3 different widths. The width of the spike should match the width of the affected area. If you have a 5 inch wide ledge, you will want to use the 5 inch wide spike. Bird Spikes are not recommended in areas where birds are nesting.

Bird Spikes have pre-drilled holes along the base and can be glued, screwed or tied down to most surfaces. It is important to make sure the affected area is clean and dry before installation.
