What are the different types of bird deterrents available?

Physical Deterrents are those that set on a surface to keep the birds from landing. Examples are bird spikes, the bird spider, gutter spikes, the repeller and bird netting.

Liquid Repellents are gel or liquids that can be applied to a surface to repel birds. These include bird gel, bird repellent and the goose repellent.

Visual Deterrents are products that can visually distract the birds. Products include the scare eye balloon, scare eye diverter, flash tape, window alerts and brite'nup.

Sound Deterrents are devices that make audible sounds to scare the birds away. These products include the bird chase supersonic, bird chase ultrasonic and the goose supersonic.

Why do my pest birds keep coming back?

Before installing any bird deterrent product it is important to clean the area of all droppings. If possible remove all food sources. Birds will look for shelter and nesting areas to scout for food and food sources. Birds fight hard to maintain their nesting areas. The only way to guarantee them from coming back is to prohibit them from returning. Make sure there is no incentive for the birds to want to stay.

The Bird Chase Supersonic is something you can hear, it uses loud predator and distress calls to scare birds from the area. It is loud enough to cover an acre but does have a volume control, and has a day/night setting. It is not harmful to pets.
